So the Palm Pre came out at CES. Great, but you won’t see me pissing my pants. As you may or may not know, I have an iPhone 3G, 8GB, Jailbroken. I have the end all, be all of phones. Now the Palm Pre, which looks pretty cool, and has some features my phone lacks (not many) came out at CES. And some people ARE pissing their pants. Namely, iPhone haters.

I was on Youtube, as I usually am. And stumbled across the keynote from one of the Palm guys. It was a five part series detailing the Pre. BTW, the douche giving the speech was just that: A Douche. Anyway, there I am, learning about the Pre. Not even close to being amazed. So I scrolled down to look at the comments. Low and behold, iPhone haters aplenty. “The iPhone is shit compared to the Pre.” “All the iPhone fags will finally humble up.” etc… So me being me, I reply to about 20 or so of these comments. Basically saying that the Pre wasn’t even out yet, and you shouldn’t hate on a device that has changed the way the world thinks about mobile devices. The comments I recieved in reply were nothing short of ignorant retoric about all manner of me sucking dick. Now I can handle these types of comments and not get emotional. And I take things idiots say with a grain of salt. But the comments have not stoped. It has been over a week.

I’m not pissed off enough to summon a great blog out of this. But I will say that the Internet is filled with stupid people. Nay, the world is filled with stupid people. With that being said, I will go on to say that I do not count myself among them. Just like I did with the G1, Black Berry Storm, and other various PDA’s, when the Pre is released, I will rush to the Sprint store and try the live demo. And I won’t be suprised when I am not amazed.

I can’t wait untill the Pre comes out and is pwned by the iPhone, like all the others.
